Our fair use policy, plus the fact we are no verifier or class. At €49 per month, there is only so much we can do. This is listed in detail in our fair use policy of our general agreement, but it basically means that:
1. We set a limit on the amount of time we can help (fair use)
2. We cannot verify as we are not registered as verifier
3. We cannot commit to a deadline if you need it quicklyIf you really need us to deliver something fast, the Admiral membership would be a better temporary solution.

Partly is the fact that our fair use policy lowers the amount of time we can spent on you. Partly it is the fact that we simply believe it is a fair price for our services at the moment. But also because we are not consultants. We do not charge by the hour. We are here to solve your questions, as good and fast as possible. And that is why we can offer such a low price, because:

Request to Build (RTB) is our way of stating that you can ask us to build you tools that help you do your job better.
You can already download all the products in the Sailor store. We are constantly updating this store with new products, based on your input, as well as input from the helpdesk from all over the world. Sometimes however you might need something else, which we don't have yet.
As a member, you can 'Request to Build' in order to have us work on what you need. We will then build this tool, which you can then download as part of your membership! Simply fill in the request on the exclusive Sailor membership page and we will get started!

Building costs are the hours required for customized or new tools that are build fully on demand. What the Captain membership offers are any and all our webtools at your disposal, i.e. personalized with your company brand. What is excluded are building costs required to customize a tool if needed.
If you need customized tools, you require the Admirals Membership, in which you get 16 hours support for €899.

No problem. Simply send us a request via the helpdesk or to admirals@sustainable-ships.org and we can setup invoicing and get you started within a day.

Yes. You can subscribe for one month, download everything there is to download and cancel your subscription. We do not like that, but it is how our offer works.
It is up to us to provide you monthly value for money. It is up to you let let us know what you need so we can build it for you and save you a lot of time.

All the items in the Sailor Store can be downloaded for free if you subscribe. You will get access to the exclusive Sailor membership area where you can download all available products and request us to make new ones.
And of course, every time we add new downloads, PDFs, Excels or whatnot, you will be able to download these too!

Personalized means our tools with your company brand. We simply take any tool and add your logo or font to it.
Customized means the development of new tools according to your spec that require manual labour to make. This means more than 1 hours work setting things up, as per our fair use policy.
If you need customized tools, you require the Admirals Membership, in which you get 16 hours support for €899.
